Friends of Carrick Hill - Evening Program

Alice, who is based at Flinders University, is an archaeologist with a difference.  While she has worked extensively in indigenous heritage management (she is a specialist in stone tool analysis, and the Aboriginal use of bottle glass after European settlement), she is also an internationally recognised leader in the emerging field of space archaeology.  She helps to keep tabs on the tens of thousands of man-made objects that currently circle our planet, objects which vary in size from tiny paint fragments to defunct satellites and space stations.
