Friends of Carrick Hill - Evening Program

Mike Lucas describes himself as 'cognitively ambidextrous'.  Brian Hancock from the Friends Committee met him while delivering copies of the Friends' book Heydays of the Haywards to Shakespeare's Bookshop at Blackwood, which he runs with his wife Becky.  Brian's ears pricked up when he casually mentioned 'throwing frozen chickens into jet engines' in a previous occupation.  It transpires that he is a very successful children's book author and poet, and also a manager at SA Power Networks, where he is an engineers.  Mike and Becky are charming and intelligent people, an he will be a brilliant speaker.
