Stanley Spencer was not only a master artist but he also played piano and was a prodigious letter writer.  The program will include music by Spencer's favourite composers Mozart, Bach and Beethoven interspersed with readings of his colourful letters about art and his life.  Carrick Hill's own Bechstein grand piano will be used for the recital that will take place in the great hall and viewing the Stanley Spencer exhibition before the concert is included in the ticket price.
