An exhibition by the renowned Australian Impressionist artist Arthur Streeton (1867 - 1943) which highlights his depiction of land and sea scapes, both in Australia and abroad. The exhibition will take inspiration from the four paintings by Streeton included in the Hayward bequest. Approximately twenty works drawn from public and private collections will be displayed in this exhibition demonstrating his treatment of bush, sea, river and mountains in oil paintings as well as a number of sketch studies. This exhibition will celebrate Streeton's contribution to the formation of the Australian identity and continues to inspire the same feelings in visitors today.
