Guided tours

House Carrick Hill’s Volunteer Tour Guides take visitors through the house, telling the history of the Haywards and their home, as well as the artworks and furnishings. Amongst the many paintings are works by Dobell, Gaugin and Sickert.

Cafe and Marquee

The Carrick Hill Café, only 15 minutes from the CBD, is situated in what was once the garage of the House and together with a garden Marquee, offers spectacular views of Adelaide and the sea beyond. The licensed cafe offers cake + coffee and picnic boxes and all day dining menu using fresh, seasonal produce. Carrick Hill’s award-winning catering partner, the food business, provides exclusive catering throughout the site.
