The contemporary Heysen Sculpture Biennial will be held in a natural setting at the historic Carrick Hill estate where 22 artists will present installations on the theme, 'Political Climate'.
Visitors are sure to be intrigued how the emerging, mid-career and established artists have responded to the theme during a particularly politically charged time since the last Biennial.
Well known local artists such as Clancy Warner, Oakey, Samuel Mulcahy and Wes Maselli are participants this year using traditional, contemporary, recycled and natural, ephemeral mediums.
The Heysen Sculpture Biennial started in 2000 as an intimate artist-run event and has evolved into one of South Australia's most significant contemporary sculpture events and is not to be missed.
