Adrian Feint is a significant Australian artist whose body of work included illustrations, graphic design, murals, and textile designs. Well-respected by patrons and peers, his art, prints and bookplates are collected publicly and privately, both in Australia and overseas.
His graphic style was bold and stylish and his bookplates are engaging artworks that give a unique insight into the people who commissioned them.
This exhibition explores some of the interesting overlaps of friendship that are revealed through the bookplates of Adrian Feint. These overlapping connections occur many times and a visually interesting exhibition and social history narrative is presented using selected portraits (oil paintings, drawings and photographs), all centred around the Feint bookplates.
