This small morning room, so called as the sun floods into it before noon, is where Ursula Hayward would have met senior servants to organise the running of the house ensuring menus for dinner parties and bedrooms for guest were prepared. It is also where she practised her needlepoint embroidery and her handiwork can be viewed in the dining chair cushions with their Tudor rose designs.
