Join Tanya Parr from Nature Creative for a fun-filled, sensory adventure in the world of printmaking! In this exciting workshop, children will explore the magic of Gelli plates and stencils, drawing inspiration from the beauty of Morris & Co designs. They'll dive into a hands-on experience of creating colourful, textured prints using nature-inspired patterns, textures, and shapes.
Through playful experimentation, young artists (aged 5-9) will learn how to use Gelli plates to make unique prints while enjoying the tactile and visual fun of layering colours and textures. This workshop is designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and sensory exploration in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Tanya is an Art Therapist that also teaches Art Classes from her nature surrounded studio near Belair National Park. She strongly believes that Nature is our best teacher and by connecting to nature we are connecting to our most balanced, innate self.
