With perfect autumn weather forecast, bring your family and enjoy a day of delicious food, live music, and family-friendly activities. Expect good old-fashioned fun with expert talks, craft stalls, and a petting zoo—there’s something for everyone...

Event Information

Site Location
The Heritage Apple Fete is located at Carrick Hill, on the Stable Lawns and surrounding gardens. Follow the signs from the car park, past the House Museum to the event hub.
     
Car Parking

Onsite car parking at Carrick Hill is limited. Your event registration does not include or guarantee an onsite car park. We suggest that visitors leave their car at home and make alternative transport arrangements. For those driving, please be prepared that street parking will require a short walk to the grounds. For those catching public transport, map your route at www.adelaidemetro.com.au
     
Accessibility

Lift access from the car park is available through The Pavilion. Access is limited in some areas of the gardens due to the use of stairs and uneven ground.

Food & Beverage
Food stalls will be avaialble on the day,  include a Rozelle's pop up, serving Apple & Porchetta rolls, toffee apples and ice cream. Potato on a Stick, serving cheese sticks, potato on the stick, fries and donuts and Mrs Sippy, serving coffee and sweet treats.

We welcome guests to BYO food and beverage. Please note BYO alcohol is not permitted. Drink bottles can be filled at a SA Water fountain.

Sun-smart

Shade on the grounds is limited, please remember to be SunSmart. No BYO shade umbrellas or marquees will be allowed in the formal gardens around the House Museum.

Chairs

This is a picnic event, chairs and tables are limited. We encourage visitors to bring a picnic blanket and low folding chairs.

Pets

While pets are welcome on leads in the Carrick Hill Gardens, please be mindful that we are expecting large crowds, which may be distressing to your pet.
